Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment from accounts held in US banks only.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, or over the Internet on our secured server.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in actual ship cost, pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Delivery Schedule
Your order is processed in our system immediately. We will normally send your order the next business day, unless otherwise noted on the item you are purchasing.
We ship via UPS and Fed Ex (when applicable) to the United States only. Air shipping is available at a higher cost. Please call us Toll Free 866-892-7078 if you need any item urgently and we will provide a ship quote by Air.
Rates to ship to Alaska & Hawaii varies by carrier - Feel free to contact us for a quote via USPS Priority Mail. You may contact us if you have multiple items to ship to Alaska & Hawaii.
Please allow 2-7 business days (Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not included) to recieve your package via standard ground shipping. When your package is shipped, you will be contacted via the email from packagetracking@music-instruments.biz with a tracking number for your order. Various spam blockers and filters sometimes prevent our important emails from reaching you. Please adjust your settings to allow emails from sales@music-instruments.biz & packagetracking@music-instruments.biz.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will be emailed from sales@music-instruments.biz with a timeline when you order can be shipped. We will always give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
Our business is operated from California. Items shipped to CA will incur 7.75% Sales Tax. All other orders are tax free, please make sure to click the exempt box to reduce tax to zero.

Returns Policy
30 Day Return Policy Details
We guarantee your complete satisfaction for 30 days from order ship date.
You must email us at returns@music-instruments.biz to request a Return Authorization form for an item you have received from Music-Instruments.biz.
Our 30 day return policy is one of the most generous policies in the industry. We allow you to return almost any product for any reason. When returning a product, you can request an identical replacement item, exchange the product for another product, or request a refund. When these procedures are followed, there are no restocking fees.
How do you return a product?
A return authorization number is required to return a product. Any package that does not have an RA number will be refused at our warehouses.
Please remember: You can return a product for any reason. Please be honest about the reason for your return. This will help us process your exchange, replacement, or refund more quickly. We will respond to your return request within 48 hours. You will receive a return authorization number, instructions for sending your item(s) back, and an address to return the product.
Return Policy Exceptions
Products in the following categories can only be returned for replacement if defective or damaged in transit:
- All Cymbals cannot be returned once opened due to the fact that they immediately reveal use.
- Printed music (books and sheet music), Videotapes, DVDs, Sample Libraries, Style Disks, Sound Expansion Boards, Sound Cards, and Software (which can also include hardware bundled with software) cannot be returned once opened due to copyright law.
- Drumheads, Drumsticks, Cleaning Supplies, Care Products, Rosin, Tubes, and Instrument Strings cannot be returned once opened due to the fact that they are disposable.
- Microphones (every type), Harmonicas, Ear Plugs, In-Ear Monitors and any other items that touch your mouth, nose, or inner ear cannot be returned once opened due to health laws. You will find this is a standard among music retailers.
- All Instrument parts for example: guitar parts, instrument pickups and speakers cannot be returned once opened due to the possiblity that they may be used.
We try to make our return policy as generous as possible. The above exceptions are necessary however; please consider them when making your purchase with Music-Instruments.biz. If you have any questions as to whether an item is included in the above list of exceptions, please contact us before you purchase.
Who is responsible for original and return shipping?
If a return results from receipt of damaged or defective product, or from our mistake, we will pay all shipping charges. This includes sending your item back to us and/or sending you a replacement item. We will often issue a factory-fresh product in advance (pending an approval) to get you back to playing music as soon as possible.
If you return a product for any reason with the intention of exchanging for a different product, you pay the shipping charges on the product we ship to you in exchange for the product you return. You are responsible for the return shipping on the product you send back. We do not credit any original shipping charges toward the exchange of an item.
In the case of a full refund on a return, the item must be re-sellable as new. Our warehouse supervisor will determine whether this criteria is met - Please allow 5 business days after return delivery for us to accept the returned items and make determination. Re-stocking fees will be waived on any new item returned that can be sold as new. We will refund the full purchase price of the product, minus shipping fees - If Free Shipping is offered, we will deduct this cost to us, plus the merchant fee (usually 3%) we incurred to process your credit card. You are responsible for return shipping on the product you are returning and you will need to provide a tracking number via Fed Ex or UPS. We do not credit the original shipping charges toward the exchange.
Why are restocking fees charged for item which cannot be sold as new?
Because time and effort is involved by our employees to get the product back on the warehouse shelf and back into our system. We will only provide a full refund for items that are returned without signs of use and with all original contents and packaging. Contents include all parts and accessories, along with the unmarked manufacturer's warranty card and manual. Packaging will include all inner and outer packaging, with the original barcode attached.
Items not returned in the condition described above are subject to higher restocking fees (up to 25% of the purchase price, determined by our cost of replacing any missing items, which includes a processing fee for this labor-intensive process) or refusal of the return. Larger items and items that we ship directly from our vendors may be subject to a 30% restocking fee. This fee may apply if delivery is refused or as a result of delivery exceptions, as well as from a typical return.
